It was a great weekend, filled with great food (and beverages) while surrounded by friends and family.  What is wealth if it’s not being able to enjoy life on weekends such as these?

A long weekend allows us common folk the chance to taste what it is like to be able to kick back and relax while still being paid (at least if you are a full time employee).  This weekend only reinforced my desire for financial freedom.  I would likely still choose to work.  However, there it is very empowering to choose the exact terms of your employment.

I am thankful for: I live in a great and free nation.  I have wonderful friends and family. And, of course, I am healthy and wealthy.
